ORDINANCE NO. 559
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-4 OF THE REVISED
CODES OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, 1961, BEING AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR A SEWER CHARGE UPON THE USERS OF THE
MUNICIPAL SEWER AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAURE L, MONTANA:
Section 1, That Section 10-4 of the Revised Codes of the
City of Laurel, 1961, be hereby amended to read as follows:
Sewer Charge. There is hereby placed upon
any resident or lot ,using city sewer of the City
of Laurel, a charge for such service and use as
is hereinafter specified. Said charge to be placed
upon the water bill of the user and to be paid as part
of the said water bill.
Said charges to be as
follows:
Inside of City Limits ----------$2.35
Outside the City Limits -------- $2.75, or 60%a of
the water bill, whichever is greater.
Section 2. That all portions of Section 10-4 of the Revised
Codes of the City of Laurel which conflict with the above described amendment
are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That an emergency is declared to exist in regard to
the passage of this ordinance and the same shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Laurel and approved by
the Mayor this 7th day of August, 1962.
