Board of Adjustment called to order at 7:30
following members present:

FILE #86-04, JOHN R. LEES:
A variance has been requested on Lots 19 and 20; Block 14; Nutting
Subdivision, RLMF Zone, to allow setback relief front and back.
The property is located at 523 Fir Avenue, Laurel, Montana.
Petitioner present. Fees paid. Advertised in the Laurel Outlook
12/24 and 12/31/86. No protests received.
Discussion.
Discussion of property line location.
Cal Cumin says he can not recommend approval. Petitioner has not
presented any other reason other than he wants approval.
Is there going to be an overhang? Will there be 7 ft. of clearance
behind the building? Ans: 2 ft. overhang.
Petitioner presented a site plan. Discussion.
Discussion of whether to face the doors on Fir or E. 6th.
Discussion regarding future fencing plans.
Motion from Bruce Teeters to grant the variance, seconded by Curt
McKenzie. Vote: 4 for, 1 against with Don Cahill voting "no."
Carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.

WHEREAS, an application for variance was filed with

WHEREAS, after due and legal notice of the aPplication
was given pursuant to law, and a hearing on the same was held
before the Board at its general meeting on the 13t~ay of
January , 198 7 ; and,
WHEREAS, after full consideration of the same by the
Board at the said meeting, it was moved
seconded b~/~o ~_~ , to graht the application for variance;
and the said motion was passed/defeated by a vote of ~// in
favor and /opposed (State law requiring that the concurrence
of at least 4 Board members is required to grant any variance.)
