Request is to re-build existing back porch within the required 20'
setback, The porch will also be expanded to line up on both sides
with the house.
A foundation will be put under the new porch (will match existing)
and the porch will be used as a utility room for a washer and
dryer.
No protests were received from neighboring property owners.
Motion by Jol%nny Goodman, seconded by Bruce Teeters to allow
porch to be built 64", as applied for. Motion carried 4--0.
#96-04- Sonsteqaard- 1305 Beartooth
Request is to build an addition/sunroom within the required
setbacks.
NO protests were received from neighboring property owners.
Cal recommended denial due to no hardships other than personal
interest on the part of the applicant.
Johnny Goodman stated that the addition would increase property
values and that there would be no problem with utilities accessed.
He wondered if making the addition shorter would help.
Contractor Mike Baney stated that the square footage cost would
still be the same even with less square footage.
Question on what the reasoning behind the 20' setback on the back
property line is?
Cal stated that it is a national standard based on factors such
access, fire, ventilation and noise.
Motion by Bruce Teeters, seconded by Bob Western, to deny the
application based on lack of hardship on part of applicant. Motion
carried 4--0.
#96-05- Elmenpeter- 813 W¥ominq

approval of the addition provided it stays within the 20' frent
setback and does not exceed the 30% lot coverage. Motion carried
