CITY F~ALL MEMBERS PRESENT: OTHERS PRESENT: Andy Muri, Chairman Bruce Teeters Robert Western Marvin Carter Johnny Goodman Riggie & Nancy Schweigert Tony Ray Schweigert Cal Cumin Variance #98-01. Robin SDarboe 809 W. 6th Street. There were no protests received on this application. Applicant passed around a picture of the manufactured home that he wants to place on the site. He stated that a septic tank and cistern were already in place and that there had been a mobile home previously on the site. He questioned whether or not he could have city water. He was told that he would have to annex in order to get city water. Marvin Carter questioned if we could make annexation a condition of approval. Cal stated that we could not but he encouraged Mr. Schweigert to do so. Cal recommends approval of the variance. Cal explained the variance that was being requested. A mobile home had previously been located on the site although the time allowed to continue such a non-conforming use had expired. Cal told the board that he is looking at requesting the Planning Board review, once again, the residential zoning for the City to allow new manufactured homes with certain provisions in more areas of the City than is currently allowed. This is a good example of why. Motion by Johnny Goodman, second by Marvin Carter, to allow a manufactured home on the lot at 809 W. 6th Street. Motion carried 5--0. Respectfully submitted,
