Dear Mayor Nelson,
I am writing to notify you of my interest and willingness to serve on the Laurel Airport Authority Board.
I am a retired Special Agent/Pilot, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Office of Law Enforcement. I have lived
in the Laurel area for about 13 months. I am a commercial pilot and currently operate my own
flying/consulting business, Webb's Wildlife Consultants. I have owned the business for about seven
years. I do survey work and aerial surveillance for State fish and game agencies and for private industry.
I own a Cessna 182 that I maintain in a rented hanger at the Laurel airport.
I have a commercial airplane rating for single engine land and sea, multi -engine land, instrument rating
and I am a certified flight instructor. I have about 4,500 hours of flight time. I am been flying for over 33
years.
I have volunteered my time and services over the past 40 years on numerous boards, including:
A. President, Nebraska Conservation Officers Association
B. President, Federal Wildlife Officers Association
C. Board member, North American Game Warden Association
D. Board member, Lower Big Blue, Natural Resource District
E. Board member, North American Game Warden Museum
F. President, Vale View home owners Association
G. Chapter Treasurer, Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association
With my vast experience in aviation, service on numerous boards and my business experience, I believe
that I can be a valuable asset to the Laurel Airport Authority Board. I have attended over half of the
Airport Board meeting during the past year, so 1 am familiar with the board members and current issues
facing the airport authority.
I appreciate your consideration of my interest in serving on the Laurel Airport Authority board.
