Members present: Bruce Teeters Chr. , Bob Graham, Prvin Wood, Pat
Metzger, Charlie Pratt
Members Absent: Jack Galusha
1) We have been contacted by the Critical Illness & Trauma Foundation
of Boulder, MT requesting our participation in a study dealing
with the use of the M.A.S.T. suit on trauma victims.
Committee recommends participation in this project pending approval
from Joe Bradley as it requires releasing patient information.
Pat brought to
our attention the article that ran in the Billings
Gazette stating that the requirement for ambulance attendants may
be changed to a minimum level of E.M.T., when the 1989 legislature
meets. At the present time we only have 1 active attendant that is
not an E.M.T.
Discussion was held regarding the 1988 - 1989 budget.
Discussion was held regarding a $25.00 increase to the base rate
as a method of generating more revenue for the service.

Motion by Pratt second by Wood passed
