Laurel Urban Renewal Agency (LURA)
SEPTEMBER 10TH, 2018, 11:00 AM CITY HALL CHAMBERS
The LURA board meeting was held in the City Council Conference Room and was called to order by
Judy Go|dsbyat11:UOAMunO9/1O/2O18.

a. None
2. General Items
a. Letters are going out to the eight Large grant recipients and the five that were denied bayed on the
procedures that were in the State issued TIF rules and regulations. Three will be put into the
Facade Grant program and two will be put into the Small Grant program once it's developed.
The Grant applicants will be asked to appear before the City Council with a LURA member to
request their award.

a. The City Planner position isnarrowed down toone particular candidate.
b. It was discussed that LURA should have business cards and letter head.
c. The Small Grant program set-up and requirements was discussed.
