A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
A letter from the Committee will be sent to the School
District requesting the use of the North School lot for parking
on July 4th.
A publicity committee, consisting of Marvin Carter, representing
the Fire Department, Vince Ricci representing the Chamber of
Co .mmerce, Fred Feurbacher representing the American Legion
teams, Fred Wennemar representing the Jaycee's and Donna
Kilpatrick was appointed.
We will search for additional entertainment to be presented
at various times during the day. Bob Graham will work on this
and will also make sure an adequate number of garbage cans
are in place in the park area.
A completed plan for the day will be presented at the
June 4th City Council meeting.
The next meeting will be Thursday, May 30th at 7~00 p.m.
in the Council Chambers. Each of the 13 groups participating
will be asked to have a representative present.
We need police reservists to write tickets for parking
in the roadway.
