I am writing this letter of interest in response to the position for Mayor of Laurel, Montana. I have
the necessary leadership skills and experience to fill this position. I have been a resident of Laurel
since June of 2014 with my wife, Stephanie, and two daughters, Paisley and Zoey. I currently work
as a general manager for Airhost-Billings, Inc. at the Billings -Logan International Airport.
I will achieve commencement at MSU Billings with a B.S. in Political Science and Minor in History in
May of 2018. My concentration is in Public Administration with a focus on local revenue, state and
federal funding, and intergovernmental relations/fiscal federalism.
I have the ability to work closely with local government officials to maintain the integrity, well-
being, and growth of the community of Laurel. I pride myself on making informed decisions that
are of legal, moral, and ethical resolution. In addition, I hold the positions of public service in the
highest regard.
Please accept my letter of interest, for Mayor of Laurel, as my understanding of a selection process
for the position and that it holds a two-year term. I meet all qualifications for the position and have
