To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter to show my interest in the Laurel mayor position. I have lived in Laurel since 1960
and have owned several successful businesses during that time. I have also been closely involved with
the community in many other areas. Through these experiences I feel I am more than qualified for this
position.
The position of mayor is an appealing one for me as it would give me an opportunity to give back to the
community of Laurel which has been so good to me. I would love to discuss this opportunity further. I
