The tests for the waste water plant operator was taken by two employees but no report yet as to their passing that test. One water plant operator did pass his test. Meeting was adjourned at 2:10 pm Footnotes: ' • On Wednesday, March 29,2017 I met with Tim Reiter and corrected my previous statement during the quarterly safety meeting about the SCBA being the only means of respiratory protection at the water plant. In actuality, and in accordance with my email to Tim and Kurt Markegard of March 2, 2017,both a ' SAR and SCBA system could be used at the plant. Because chlorine is in use either system would require a tight fitting face mask and a hood could not be used. Both fit testing and medical evaluations would be need to be performed with the result that beards would not be allowed to interfere with the seal on the face piece. I wanted to correct my eror by passing this along to Tim and will so note in my email to Heidi. • I also contacted Alex Watruc(651-402-8896)with Cintas about giving us an estimate on first aid kits at both city hall and the library on March 29, 2017.
