CAII TO OROER: The meeting was called to order at 10:04 a.m. by Judy Goldsby.
ROLL CALL: Members prese�t were Goldsby, Klasna,Williams, Koch, Richardson, and Giese. ,
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS: A motion was made by lerry Williams and
seconded by Jon Klasna ta approve the minutes of the October 5`", 2017 meeting. The motion carried
by a vote of 5-0. I
New Business I
Old Business:Zoning and Subdivisio�Regulations I
City Planner, Nael Eato� presented packets of the Zoning Regulations(Black)and Subdivision
Regulations(White}to the new board members. Dan requested o�e of each packets and Lee and Judy I�I
need an updated Subdivision Regulation packet. ',
Noel asked the board members to start looking through the zoning regulatians for errors,deficiencies I
and possible changes to the various sections of the Zoning Chapter. Noel mentioned a few of the
sections have been updated in the past such as the lot requirements for RIMF zoning arid#he entire sign
code.
Richard Herr asked about our animal ordinance. Noel stated a property owner can have two pets,one
cat and one dog, or two cats or two dogs. Karen Courtney in Code Enforcement is updating the
enforcement codes for the City to give more teeth in the ordinances for code violations.
There was discussion regarding the new interchange and the zor�ing bour�daries. Noel stated the
department has the ability to have zoning boundaries 1 mile from City limits;as the city grows we can
expand the bpundaries.ludy mentioned a study that previous planner lames Caniglia did that discusses
what to expect when the new interchange is in place. MDT and the cantractors wili continue
construction through the winter. 'I

There was a question abaut the CHS plans. Noel discussed CHS's Transportation Pian and of few of the
other projects she is aware of.
Noel urged board rr�embers when driving to be aware of the graveE trucks that are being used for the
interchange project,
There was discussion regarding a future subdivision on Danford and Yard Office.Noel s#ated she has had
a pre�pplication with the developer but nothing has been submitted.
Noei menti4ned the High schooE wouid be going through a Land Use Contrary ta Zoning application at
the City CounciL

tt�e 27`�'.There was discus�ion about the plan updates so far.

PUBUC COMMENT ON NON-AGENDA TOPtCS: There was�io putalic wishing to speak.
Dan asked about his positian as Vice-Chai�. Noel said there are twa open City seats available an the
board. Dan said he would sit as the Vice-chair until a new board member coufd fill that. Noel mentioned
that he was nom'snated because of his(ong standing time on the Pianning Board. Dan ask�d when his
term expires. Noei said she woutd check.
There was discussion abaut the schaol districts bond and what irnpravements are planne�i (nate:th�
schoc�l bond failed}.
