- - As you know, the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is continuing- to design the
refer-erc~d :project. Ir-general, -the rre~t r~ajcrity of too;gra~phic...and- property survey wi:rl:,
including. cultural resources surveys, utility locating, and geotechnical and materials source
investigations necessary. far the design have been completed. -
However, some of this work remains to be done.: In fact, in the coming months you are likely to
notice the presence of Morrison-Maierle Inc. survey crews in the area, as well as some
geotechnical drill rig activity.
You have previously granted the design team permission to enter onto your property to do our
preliminary engineering work, which we appreciate. We strive to conduct our activities without
damaging the property arid with the least amount of inconvenience to the landowner.- However,
if you have any concerns about our continued access, please call Stefan Streeter, MDY-District
'Administrator, in Billings- at (406) 252=41 i8; or me at (406) 495-3450 to discuss and resolve
your concerns.
