ORDINANCE DELETING A SECTION OF THE "LAUREL VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE" LOCATED AT CHAPTER 10 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, Section 10.52.01 S of the Laurel Municipal Code provides for parking
restrictions on the east side of the middle school, located at Fifth Street and Colorado Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Laurel provided for a newly constructed middle school in a
different location, thereby vacating the premises on Fifth Street and Colorado Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the relocation of the middle school renders the parking restriction contained
in the Laurel Municipal Code unnecessary;
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that the
LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE is hereby amended as is set forth below.
Chapter 10.52
PARKING RESTRICTIONS
IN CERTAIN DESIGNATED
AREAS
Sections:
10.52.010 Parking limitations on certain streets.
10.52.020 Reserved parking at city hall---Parking by noncity employees prohibited.
10.52.030 Parking prohibited at all times where.
10.52.040 Two-hour parking.
10.52.050 Three-hour parking.
10.52.060 Four-hour parking.
10.52.070 Handicapped parking.
10.52.080 Owner responsible for vehicle.
10.52.090 Violation-Penalty.

This Ordinance becomes effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.
