Larry reported that he had asked the Republican Club to help co-ordinate the clean up.
Porta pots - the fireman will help set locations. Laser show - they will be in on July 3rd.
Screen height will be 60 feet. The fire department asked the police department to check
on securky of the screen during the night. Discussion of plotting the areas of the park for
concessionaires. Larry set up an overhead of the park and showed the committee the
different locations of the concessions. He also stated that they will be set up by 10 am on
the 4th and down by 7 pm. There will be no take down between 7 pm and the end of the
show. Can take down at midnight and must be out by 10 am on the 5th. Clean up time is
.10 am on the 5th. Chamber of Commerce stated that the run starts at 7:30 am and the
parade was okayed by the chief of police. Rick Musson reported that the Reserves will
be available on the 4th and will be taking care of the first aid station. Terry Ruffreported
that the park lights will be offduring the show. Larry reported that the barricades will be
distributed on the 2ha. Chamber of Commerce will put up the barricades on East Sixth
Street. The firemen will put up the barricades on East Eighth Street. The Legion will
unload busses west of the Legion field. Garbage cans were discussed - locations will be
determined by Larry and Andy. Ken asked for any comments fi.om audience. There
were none.
