Laurel Urban Renewal Agency (LURA)
SEPTEMBER 18TH, 2017, LAUREL LIBRARY CONFERENCE ROOM
Meeting was called to order by Judy Goldsby. Roll call/Attendance: Non-Quorum of voting members present:
Mardie Spalinger and Judy Goldsby. Advisory board members: Janice Lehman and Linda Fricke!.
City Staff: Noel Eaton. City Council: Rick Herr. Big Sky EDA: Dianne Lehm
Introductions: Ken Olson and Randy Hafner
Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting: No Quorum.
Old Business:
a. Noel gave an update of SE 4th &SID 118 progress.
New Business:
a. Technical Assistance Grants Program is being revised. Noel will bring the information to
the next meeting. Randy Hafner commented on the program and had some suggestions.
b. TIF Project Ad will go into the Outlook.
Reports:
a. City Administration: None
b. City Planner: So. Montana paving update.
c. City Treasurer: None.
d. Big Sky EDA: There is now a signed study agreement for the Sports Complex. The final
report should be done around the end of February.
Power Summit is September 26th, 2017.
Public Comment on Non Agenda Topics: Ken Olson commented on the Fire Memorial sign. They are trying
to find the best bang for their buck.
Next Meeting: October 16th, 2017 at 11:00 at the Laurel Library.
