LAUREL—YELLOWSTONE CITY-COUNTY PLANNING BOARD
August 3, 2017 10:00 am
COUNCIL CHAMBERS
Members present: Judy Goldsby,Vice Chairman
Dan Koch, City Rep.
Roger Giese, City Rep.
Jerry Williams,Conservation Corps Rep.
Others present: Noel Eaton,City Planner
Heidi Kelsey, City Secretary
THERE WAS NOT A QUORUM PRESENT AT THIS MEETING.
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Vice Chairman Goldsby.
ROLL CALL: Members present were Koch, Giese,Williams, and Goldsby.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS: The minutes from the previous meeting could
not be approved due to a quorum not being present.
NEW BUSINESS: Riverside Park Master Plan
Noel distributed a survey created to help prioritize a list of improvements for Riverside Park.
The city has$250,000 to spend in Riverside Park from ExxonMobil.
There was discussion about additional Exxon funds available through an application process and the
difference between that and the master plan.
OLD BUSINESS:
Noel reviewed the progress of continuing projects, including widening the corner of Southeast 4th Street
and the new building north of Ricci's.
MISCELLANEOUS:
The next meeting will be September 7, 2017 at 10:00 am. Nominations will be held for Chair and Vice
Chair at the next meeting. Noel would like the Local Government Center to attend a meeting in the
future.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON NON-AGENDA TOPICS: There was no public comment.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting ended at 11:12 am.
