The speed limit sign has been installed. A signing plan for lane guidance was approved on June 4th and forwarded to the Billings MDT maintence section for installation. The corridor of US 212 & 4~` Street was a challenge to assemble an effective signing plan. Our signing guidance allowed few options and the required physical locations of needed signs were handicapped by a lack of suitable, safe mounting sites. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with an installation date at this time; as materials & signage we do not normally stock need to be obtained and fabricated before installation work can be scheduled. Tf you have any questions; please contact the District traffic engineer, Stan Jonutis, at 657-0240. Respectfully, r Stefan Streeter, P.E.
