Dear Mayor Olson:
The Laurel High School Student Council is planning our 2008 Horneconaing activities.
The date for homecoming is September 26, 2008.Our annual parade is part of our plans.
We are sending you this request in hopes that you will help us continue this tradition as
you have done in the past. We are also contacting the Police and Fire Department for
their assistance with the parade. Student Council sponsor Ms. Andrea Prevost is our
contact person at the high school.
Line up for the parade is at 3:30 FM. We will line up at the Starlight Skating Rink. Ms.
Frevost and the Student Council parade committee will give entrants a line up plan in
advance which will make sure that no streets or driveways will be blocked. High School
administrators will assist with this as well.
The parade will begin at 4:00 FM. It will travel onto Main Street from 8`h Avenue West
and go to First Avenue. It will then turn north on First Avenue and end at the football
field. .
