Emergency Response Team Coordinator attended the meeting along with Pat Kimmet, Refinery Manager. The Fire District Agreement was reviewed by Cenex and they returned a copy showing any additions or deletions of the agreement made in red and also a retyped copy. There was discussion regarding the agreement also including buildings located on the west side of the highway that are not included in the Mutual Aid Agreement. Cenex will provide a list of the buildings to be attached to the Fire District Agreement. A motion was made to pass the Fire District Agreement to the council when approved by the City Attorney. Motion was passed with all in favor. Cenex also reviewed the Mutual Aid Agreement that was written for the City of Billings which is being used as a base for an agreement with the refinery. They returned it with additions or deletions made in red and also a retyped copy. It was discussed that the Mutual Aid Agreement is with the City of Laurel which would supplement all emergency response agencies. Fire Hall A presentation of the new fire hall was given at the workshop by Derek Yeager. The primary site is the location next to Ricci's Express on North First Avenue. The council is now considering G.O. bonding, presenting it to the public and going forward with placing this item on the November ballot. The meeting was adjourned.
