Minutes:
The minutes of the February 8, 2008 meeting were read and approved.
Correspondence
Circulation Report
Traffic for February 2008 was 1,589 up 7.2% from February 2007. Circulation for
materials was 2,662 up 21 % from February 2007. Circulation of books alone was up
9.5% over last February.
Old Business
Pay issue for Geralyn was resolved satisfactorily. She was given a raise to $11.60 per
hour.
It was decided that Nancy would send out a request via library email to other libraries
for copies of their by-laws using the criteria that the library serves a population of 5,000
to 10,000 people.
Work on Nancy's office has been completed. The anly thing left to do is finish sorting
papers and miscellaneous items that need to be refilled in her office.
The training session in Belgrade on March St'' was attended by Nancy Schmidt. The
training was to learn how to use the new circulation system when the Library goes live
on April 14`h
New Business
Nancy Schmidt and Clair Killebrew will attend the Federation Meeting in Big Timber
on March 15, 2008. Bruce McCullough would also try to attend but would travel
separately.
Nancy Schmidt will attend the MLA Annual Conference -April 9-12, 2008 in Great
Falls.
The date chosen for Going Live is April 14~~' -National Library Week.
