Laurel Urban Renewal Agency (LURA)
MAY 15TH, 2017, LAUREL LIBRARY CONFERENCE ROOM
Meeting was called to order by Judy Goldsby. Roll call/Attendance: Quorum of voting members present:
Mardie Spalinger, Don Smarsh, Dean Rankin and Daniel Kline. Advisory board members: Linda Fricke!, Janice
Lehman. City Staff: Heidi Jensen and Bethany Keeler. City Council: Rick Herr. Chamberof Commerce: Marcia
Hafner.
Introductions: Dan and Brandi Sieminski
Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting: Dan made the motion and Don seconded.
Old Business:
a. Trading Post and King Coin - Sold.
New Business:
a. Heidi presented the break down of the Large Grant applicants.
Reports:
a. City Administration: Round about update. Need assessment from Fluxem. Three year
contract. LURA will meet with the them.
b. City Planner: None
c. City Treasurer: Reallocated funds have been paid out.
d. Big Sky EDA: None
Public Comment on Non Agenda Topics: Flock Hawking update. They would like to install traps on top of
the Trading Post, Stokke Mall and Taco John's. They will also give
us (2) free traps.
Next Meeting: June 5th, 2017 at 11:00 at the Laurel Library.
