A quorum ($ or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The Committee inspected the roof over the Ambulance bay. This section of roof
is covered with a very thin layer of plastic membrane and is deteriorating
badly - not at the valleys along the edge but in the middle. Compounding the
problem is the areas where the membrane has deteriorated the plywood sheeting
beneath it is rotting and sepera%ing.
There were several suggestions including ;
Contracting a sprayed on polyurethane roo'fing, (approx.$2/sq.ft.)
Re-covering the whole area with another layer of ½" plywood and applying asphalt
shingles ( 27 ¢/sq.ft.) .
Recovering the whole area with another layer of ~" plywood and applying 90~
roll roofing(l~ ¢/sq~ft.) .
The Committee also strongly reco~m~ends installation of roof vents in this area.
