There has reportedly been a problem with the control air compressor on the furnace
at the Complex. Technical Assistance Corp. wants to repair the compressor unit and
replace the air dryer at $500 to $600.A'fter examination by the Committee and others
the problem seems to be a defective air dryer drain valve and possibly a dirty
inlet filter. Hopefully the,p~oblemwill soon be rectified.
It was noted that we need to purchase a step ladder and an extension ladder for the
Conplex and the Committee so recommends.
Mayor Ehrlich has located a large roof mounted air conditioner at a very reasonable
cost.We will check to see if it would be compatible with the heating system and
what it would cost to install.
The Committee reviewed bids for the painting of the interior of the police station.
The Bids were ; Magic City Decorators .$1,650
G.& G. Painting $2,050
The Committee recommends we accept the Magic City bid.
We are still waiting for favorable weather to repair the roof.
The floor is settling badly in the squad room.
The Committee recommends approval to build cabinets in the bay area if and when
money is available.
Respectfully Submitted,
