A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The Committee discussed a report recieved from Clarence Foos regarding the air
conditioner discussed in our last Comm~ittee report. This is a ~ ton air conditioner
and a 100,O00 B.T.U. heating unit.Mr. Foos has examined the unit and feels that it
is in excellent condition and that it would be adequate to cool and heat the front
portion of the office area far more efficiently than it is now. His total bid
including the $200 purchase price,installation,duct work,wiring,and plumbing
is $2,~45.Considering that our heating bill this winter are running up to
$2,600/mo. The Committee recommends budgeting for. the installation.
Two other projects discussed were installing a pull down attic type stairway
so the top of the jail could be used for storage ang installation of a doorway
and door between the squadroom and coffee' room. These are low cost items and
labor would be volunteer. The Committee approved these items.
