Board Meeting Minutes
The Meeting was held on July 13, 2017 at Log Cabin. In attendance were: Executive Board Members:
President- Mary Lou Batalden, Treasurer-Sandy Reese and executive secretary- Manila Hafner and
Chamber Assistant Camilla Nelson. Directors: Billie Lehman,Carrie Smith, Katie Whitmoyer, Donnie McVee,
Roger Heimbigner, Cindy Drake, Brent Renier, Bruce Larson, Renee Studiner. Members: Ken Gomer
Mary Lou called the meeting to order.
The minutes were approved: moved to approve- Ken, Billie 2nd. Minutes were approved
The financial report was approved and bills were presented for payment:

41'- Parking,dean-up, potties, run timers, 79.99 to fix website
Old BUSINESS
■ Insurance-Marcia reported that we would not be able to get Insurance for the Log Cabin
next year if we serve alcohol at our events. It was brought up to ask a member with a
mobile liquor license come and serve for us. Marcia will contact them and see if she can
set that up.
■ Candy-Rule Breakers It was suggested that we put an article in the paper 2 weeks prior stating
rules.
■ 4tn- Marcia Thanked all of the volunteers and gave a report on how the 4"'went.
■ Farmer's Market- Mary Lou reported that we have 10-15 vendors lined up. LARC will be the first
organization booth and the balloon guy will be there.
New BUSINESS
• New Member- Cartridge World- Christy Williams & Billings Tech Guys- Dylan Solberg
■ Time Capsule- @Kiwanis Park on the 2V at 2:00. Marcia would like to include a Profit& Loss
from the 4"' , a membership directory and a picture of the chamber.
■ Website Audit Report- New member, Clear and Present, did a report for us on our
website. He has mentioned that he would like to do a lunch & learn. It was agreed that we
would set that up.
OPEN FORUM
■ Roger Heimbigner- He will be taking over the Chamber Rep position for the School
District. He spoke about the State Track meet and asked if the Chamber would like to help
support it next year.
