Board Meeting Minutes
The Meeting was held on June 8, 2017 at Sid's. In attendance were: Executive Board Members: President
- Mary Lou Batalden, Treasurer-Sandy Reese and executive secretary- Marcia Hafner and Chamber
Assistant Camilla Nelson. Directors: Billie Lehman, Carrie Smith, Katie Whitmoyer, Donnie McVee, Cindy
Drake. Members: Ken Gomer, Evan Bruce and Jaidyn Milliron.
Mary Lou called the meeting to order.
The minutes were approved: moved to approve- Cindy, 2nd - Ken.
The financial report and bills were presented for payment.
Bills to be Dresented for Dayment:
Arcadia Publishing Company $263.88 1 book already sold
Old BUSINESS
■ July 4th- Grand Marshall for the parade? Mary Lou is going to talk to the Firemen to see if
they have anybody to suggest
■ Color Guard--We are still in need of someone to do the Color Guard
■ Insurance- Insurance has increased to$2,600, issue is that we allow throwing of candy during the
parade. It was suggested to add a fee for the people that want to throw candy to help cover
insurance cost.Thought would suggest approval,so maybe we call it a fine, after the fact? No
decision.
New BUSINESS
■ New Member- Small Dog Realty- Jaidyn Milliron realtor
■ July 4th-
o Volunteers- Sheet was passed around for everyone to sign up
o Craft vendors- Still looking for more crafters
o Food vendors- Full. Application was sent into Riverstone Health
o Parade and Run-Already have 29 entries for the run and 10 for the parade
Ribbon cuttings- Small Dog Realty June 20th 12pm @ the Log Cabin
OPEN FORUM
■ LURA- Marcia presented that 2 small grants were given to Outlaw Tattoo and Eagles
■ LARC- Ken reported that a grant from Yellowstone County Sports Facility was awarded for
a trust fund of $20,000 for a feasibility study.

that he would like to do a lunch & learn.
