JUNE 13, 2017
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was held in the
Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Mark Mace at 6:30 p.m. on June 13, 2017.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Emelie Eaton Doug Poehls
Bruce McGee Richard Herr

Tom Nelson Bill Mountsier
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None
OTHER STAFF PRESENT: Sam Painter, City Civil Attorney
Heidi Jensen, Chief Administrative Officer
Bethany Keeler, Clerk/Treasurer
Noel Eaton, City Planner
Kara Hergenrider, Interim Ambulance Director
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: None.
ROLL CALL OF THE COUNCIL.
SCHEDULED MATTER:
• Resolution No. R17-24: A resolution of the City Council authorizing the Mayor to sign
renewal agreements with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana and VSP for the provision
of the employee health insurance program.
Motion by Council Member Poehls to approve Resolution No. R17-24, seconded by Council
Member Nelson. There was no public comment or council discussion. A vote was taken on the
motion. All eight council members present voted aye. Motion carried 8-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion by Council Member Dickerson to adjourn the council meeting, seconded by Council
Member McGee. There was no public comment or council discussion. A vote was taken on the
motion. All eight council members present voted aye. Motion carried 8-0.
There being no further business to come before the council at this time, the meeting was adjourned at
6:33 p.m.
