Board Meeting Minutes
The Meeting was held on May 11, 2017 at Guadalajara. In attendance were: Executive Board Members:
President- Mary Lou Batalden, Treasurer-Sandy Reese and executive secretary-Marcia Hafner and
Chamber Assistant Camilla Nelson. Directors: Monica Rodenberger, Billie Lehman,Ann Soares, Bruce Larson,
Carrie Smith, Brent Renier, Renee Studiner, Katie Whitmoyer. Members: Ken Gomer Michelle DeBoer.
Mary Lou called the meeting to order.
The minutes were approved: moved to approve- Ken, 2nd - Renee.
The financial report was approved and bills were presented for payment: moved to approve-Angela, 2"d -
Christy.
Old BUSINESS
• -Social Media Marketing Class- Marcia reported on the class.
■ -Visitor Information Signs- Signs were put up and look great
• -Budget Committee Report- Sandy reported on the 2017 Budget. Moved to approve
Billie, Brent 2"d. Approved.
■ -Audit Committee Report- Brent reported on the Audit. Looked good.
New BUSINESS
■ July 4th- We only have space for 1 more food vendor. We only have 19 spots this year
instead of 20.
o . Marcia updated that Insurance is not renewing. They are working on getting it
through a different company.
o Marcia reported on the Community Committee meeting.
OPEN FORUM
■ Books to sell- Laurel Book, Ken moved to order 20, Billie 2"d . Approved.
• Farmers Market- Mary Lou reported the Farmers Market will start July 19th and will go
from 4-7pm. Info will be in the paper every week along with pictures for the previous
week.
■ Exchange Club- meeting Wednesday May 17th @ 12pm, retired Navy Seal Bo
Reichenbach will be speaking
■ Crossings Annual Concert- June 29th @ 7pm, there will be food trucks
■ Business after Hours -.
o May - Western Security Bank
o June - Adult Resource Alliance---Looking for someone to partner with them
o July -
o August- Biz to Biz at the log cabin
