COUNCIL CHAMBERS MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman- Chuck Rodgers Gary Temple Norman Orr Dirk Kroll Gay Easton Miles Walton Donna Kilpatrick Bud Johnson William Staudinger OTHERS PRESENT: V. Joe Leckie Andy Loebe Jim Stevens Don Hackmann Alan Hovlous Dirk Kroll introduced Brent Cromley, Lil Anderson, and Dr. Moore who gave an overview of a proposed interlocal agreement between the City of Laurel, City of Billings, and Yellowstone County, creating a multi-jurisdictional health service district. Commissioner Bill Kennedy gave an overview of the Yellowstone City- County Health Department and its origination with an agreement in 1974. There is a resolution on the council agenda tonight approving an interlocal agreement Gary Temple reported that we have a problem with transients in Firemen's Park. Bill Staudinger said that he got a report that drivers aren't stopping for children in the crosswalks at Fred Graft school. Dave Michael informed the council that the contractor has started working on the water reservoir. Joe Leckie gave an update on the Jim Martin property. appealing his revocation of his bond. He is Gary asked about the status said that he has a motion judge. of the manufactured homes case. Joe to dismiss before the district court Bill Kennedy mentioned that the County Commissioners would like to meet with the city council twice a year to discuss related issues. A starting date sometime in November was suggested. Norman Orr asked if we have had any correspondence from our ex-City Treasurer. Joe reported that he had a phone call and reiterated what he had mentioned in the letter to her. Norman asked if her pay has stopped and Joe said yes.
