CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

Bill Staudinger mentioned that in May there was
discussion about cleaning the gutter over by Richard
Barnhardt's business. Joe reported that we are limited on
what we can do over there because that is state right of
way. Discussion regarding getting the state involved with
this problem.
Bill also reported that the drain on the south side of
the interstate by Bill Bernhart needs to be cleaned out.
Andy reported that the power is being installed at the
new building down by the shop.
Jim reported that the fire department just finished in-
house training on fire fighting essentials. They are
working on the Christmas displays for Firemen's Park.
Alan reported on the police department activities for
the month of October.
Bud reported that the Water Task Force met last night
and they worked on putting together a time line for the
second half of the project. A tentative date of December
28th was recommended for bid advertising.
