NO QUORUM WAS PRESENT.
Minor (2- lot) Subdivision - Global Subdivision- Steve Aacker
Steve Aacker and Jim Lehman were present to give their presentation on this minor
subdivision.
This proposed minor subdivision is located offofThiel Road. The property is zoned
Highway Commercial and an existing house is located on Lot 2. No building is planned
on Lot 1 at this time as the lot is shown in the flood plain.
Lots 1 and 2 both currently access Thiel Road with no proposed changes.
The existing house on Lot 2 has an existing well and septic tank and drain field. There is
nothing planned for Lot 1 as there will be no building requiring water or sewage facilities
on the Lot at this time.
Storm water surface runoffwill not change as there are no plans to change the site at this
time.
No park dedication is required for this minor subdivision.
James Caniglia, City Planner requested: 1) that a Noxious Weed Management Plan be
completed and filed with the Yellowstone County Weed Department; 2) that the
developer meet all the requirements of the DEQ; and, 3) that the existing ditches and
pipelines be noted on the plat along with all existing easements.
This minor subdivision will be sent to the County Commissioners along with James
recommendations stated above.

Ul~date on Annexation Policy
The board was given Ordinance No. 008-02 adopting Annexation regulations for The
City of Laurel for incorporation into Chapter 16 oftha Laurel Municipal Code. It will go
into effect April 4, 2008.
The board discussed whether or not the City of Laurel has standards in place for utility
lines that are extemded to newly annexed land in regards to future growth.
James will ask Public Works Director, Bill Sheridan to attend the next Planning Board
meeting to discuss this matter further.
Chairman Gerald Shay stated that he received correspondence from the Laurel Centennial
Committee requesting the board's involvement in the 100 year celebration.
