ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.68.100 OF
THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE,
AMENDING THE JUDGE'S SALARY.
WHEREAS, Section 2.68.100 of the Laurel Municipal Code sets the City Judge's annual
salary at twenty-seven thousand one hundred eighty-five dollars, as previously amended in 2006
by Ordinance No. O06-09.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Laurel, Montana, that
Section 2.68.100 of the Laurel Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
City Judge- Salary.
The annual salary of the city judge shall be twenty-eight tw~' gevcn thousand two e.':e
hundred seventy-five eighW--five dollars paid on the regularly established paydays of the City, and
shall re~ive a fringe benefit of the regular group health coverage supplied to city employees,
retroactive to July 1, 2007 .....
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days aider final passage by the City
Council and approved by the Mayor.
Introduced end passed on first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on January
15, 2008, by Council Member W±lkins
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second reading this 19th day
of February , 2008, upon motion of Council Member
