Meeting called to order at 1900 by Chairman John Smith.
Members present were Bill Brerman,Bob Western,Roy Zahm,and newly
appointed member Don Sleiglemilch.
Guests present were Craig Canfield,Randy Pfeifle,and Doug PoeMs.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
Bills were presented and approved.
Heceived letter from Yerger(Doug poeMs attorney)objecting to requiring
liability insurance in "old hangar"area. The required insurance was not
included in the minutes and should include all hangar areas. Costs about
$1,500 per year per hangar.We will turn it over to the Authority's attorney.
We hauled away a very full dumpster of scrap wood from the "old
hangar"area.Shared the cost with Frank Felke.
Craig Canfield reported;the L.P,V. suvey was approved,L.LT~A.R, w~l be
completed soon.'l~o ac~es of proposed cemetery will be exempted from the
state land due to interference with flight path. Master plan update still in
progress,will be subn~tted to F.A.A. for approval.~ environmental
assessment for the new c~'osswind nmway is in progress.W!ilI require 2 public
heerings. The Airport Influence Area needs to be updated
We need to investigate hiring a part time Airport manager. It will cost us at
least $15,000 per year.
There will be no meeting until January ~,2008.
