EMERGENCY SERVICES COMMITTEE
JANUARY 21, 2008

Cenex -Fire Agreement
Scott Wilm, Fire Chief, presented to the committee a contract agreement between the
City of Laurel and Cenex for fire services provided to all CHS property located on the
east side of Highway 212. This would include the truck terminal, pipeline, and
administration offices. In the past it was only the west side of the refinery that was
protected by the Mutual Aid Agreement. Cenex property on the east side of the highway
was not covered by the Mutual Aid Agreement nor did they belong to a fire district.
Motion was made to accept the fire service contract agreement between the City of
Laurel and Cenex. Motion seconded. Scott and Doug will present the contract to
Cenex for them to review and approve.
Other
Jan Faught, Ambulance Director, was told to come to the committee for a request to set a
300 gallon garbage can neaz the FAP, as there was in the past. She stated that the two
ninety gallon cans are not sufficient for the FAP's use. It was determined that this was
not a committee matter and that she needed to talk to Kurt Mazkegazd about requesting
additional cans.
The meeting was adjourned.
