You are invited to attend a public hearing and open house for the Draft
Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed Rockvale to Laurel
Highway Reconstruction project.
Date: Tuesday, December 11, 2007
Location: Laurel High School Auditorium
203 East 8th Street, Laurel
Schedule: Open house: 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.; Presentation: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.;
Public hearing: 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Community particspation is a vital part of the process, and the public is
encouraged to review the DEI$, attend the public headng, and provide
comments. Oral or wdtten comments and concerns may be presented at the
public hearing. Alternatively, written comments may be submitted to Tom Martin,
P.E., MDT Environmental Services, at 2701 Prospect Avenue, P.O. Box 201001,
Helena, MT 59620-1001, or online at
http:llwww.mdt.mt.,qovlpubinvolve/eis ea.shtml. The public review period for the
DEIS will conclude on December 26, 2007.
