EMERGENCY SERVICES COMMITTEE
OCTOBER 22, 2007
COUNCIL CHAMBERS 5:30 P.M.

Before the meeting, Pat Kimmet and Doug Poehls met to discus mutual aid. They came to a basic
understanding that the refinery will not be training its fire department for structure entry. Pat
agreed that we should work on a part mutual aid agreement and then a fire district to cover
structures and buildings.
Meeting:
Doug gave a report on the meeting with Pat Kimmet.
Terry Ruff explained about entry and which buildings and areas at thc refinery would be
involved.
Emelie asked ifa fire district contract would hurt Cenex more than Laurel
Chuck asked what the City of Billiugs and Exxon/Conoco do for mutual aid.
Terry stated a concern ifCenex will respond when there is an aid call
Doug will check on Exxon and Billings for the next meeting.
