RE: Hydro testing unit
Dear Mayor Olson:
We thank you for the opportunity to construct a small Iow-head hydro test unit in
your City at the corner of North 12th Street and 1't Avenue. It is our intention to install a
Iow-head electrical generator at this location to run tests to determine how much power
can be generated using the water from the Big Ditch, which flows at that corner.
We have from time to time brought before you, the idea of a water generation
system. We now are ready to begin the test period and need both your support and
approval so that we can proceed with written approval with both the Ditch Company and
the Electrical people.
In our previous letters we stated we will not alter the flow and would keep
everything as close to original as possible.
On behalf of Montana Hydro Electric, Inc., we wish to thank you for your
wittingness~to allow-us to run the tests and for your confidence inpermitting us to move
forward with this worthwhile project.
