ORDINANCE TO AMEND PREVIOUSLY APPROVED CITY ORDINANCE N0.006-04
TO RENUMBER SECTIONS 12.28.070,15.36.180 AND 15.03.010 AND
REVISING SECTION 15.20.010 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 006-04 created new Sections in the Laurel Municipal Code,
namely Sections 12.28.070, 15.36.180 and 15.03.010; and,
WHEREAS, the above Sections require renumbering since the newly selected and assigned
Section numbers were previously assigned and utilized in the Laurel Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 006-04 additionally revised Section 15.14.010, which must be
changed to Section 15.20.010 as previously amended by City Ordinance.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that
Ordinance No. 006-04 hereby modified and amended as follows:
NEW SECTION:
12.28.A70 065 Fees and Charges. (Park Rules and Regulations)
The City Council shall establish reasonable fees and/or charges for the use of the pool, parks
and/or recreation areas and facilities owned by the City by annual Resolution after a public heazing.
NEW SECTION:
15.3640.180 City fees and/chazges for signs.
The City Council shall establish reasonable fees and/or charges for sil signage within the
jurisdiction ofthe City by annual Resolution after a public hearing.
NEW SECTION.
~-514.03.010 City fees for building, remodel, plumbing and construction projects.
The City Council shall establish reasonable fees and/or charges for all building, remodel,
plumbing and/or construction permits for projects within the City by annual Resolution after a public
hearing.

C. Whenever special investigation is required hereunder, both an investigation fee and the

This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City Council
and approved by the Mayor.
