Re: Response to FY2006 AuOii Report
Thank you for notifying us of the actions the City has taken and will be taking regarding the
fmclings and recommendations contained in the audit report of the City of Laurel for the fiscal
year ended June 30, 2006. Your auditor, Olness & Associates, issued that report to you in March
2007.
Pursuant to State law, I've reviewed the City's response to the findings and recommendations
and am notifying you of our acceptance of this response and your proposed corrective actions.
Please note that our acceptance is based on our understanding of the audit findings and responses
as written, and does not represent a l~-gai determination of compliance. You may wish to contact
the auditor to ensure that your corrective actions address the auditor's findings satisfactorily and
completely.
