Dear Mayor Olson:
Laurel High School Pep Club is planning our 2007 Homecoming Activities. The
date for homecoming is September 28, 2007. Our annual parade is part of our plans. We
are sending you this request in hopes that you will help us to continue this tradition as
you have done in the past. Pep Club sponsor Ms. Andrea Prevost is our contact person at
the high school.
Line up for the parade is at 3:30 PM. We will line up at the Starlight Skating Rink.
Ms. Prevost and the pep club parade committee will give entrants a line up plan in
advance which will make sure that no streets or driveways will be blocked. High School
administrators will assist with this.
The parade will start at 4:00 PM. We are contacting the Fire Department and
Police Department to again assist us with our parade. The parade will go onto Main
Street from 8t~ Avenue. West and go to First Avenue. It will turn to go North on First
Avenue and follow First Avenue, ending at the football field.
