Meeting called to order @ 19:07hours by Chairman John Smith
Members present were John Smith, Randy Hand, Rob Engh.
Approved minutes of last meeting.
Guest present: Craig Canfield, Don Schegelmilch
Claims approved: Normal amounts for utilities and normal expenses. Waiting
reimbursement of FAA on recent expenses as agreed with KLJ and others.
Old Business;
1. Airport Affected Area, no changes at this time.
2. New Runway, KU has started design finalization. It was noted that the
existing primary runway will not be completely dosed, but may have displaced
thresholds etc. at times
3. AWOS New AWOS will be here mid-October, and will have a new frequency
4. National Guard project is under review at national level, and if approved all
public hearings required/desired, will piggyback with the Guards information.
5. FAA has not made determination yet as to release of Sindalar/Weber parcels
to non-aviation use.
6. Will Metz sidewalk replacement was discussed, we need to find original lease
to determine if existing sidewalk was approved as installed. It may have been
installed on non leased land. When this is determined board can determine
proper course to proceed. This should be accomplished prior to frost.
New Business:
1. Don Schegelmilch noted that all of the maintenance equipment is now running
properly, and that portion is proceeding well.
2. Don also mentioned that we need to expedite the lease agreement for any
farmed ground.
3. Craig of KU agreed to do the notices etc. for farm lease, so that we can have
in time for fall planting. We have interest from several parties, and conclude
that it should be advertised so as to not make it a political issue.

4. Rob Engh made motion, to have Craig expedite the land lease agreement,
motion passed. Terms to be determined but typically three to five year leases.
5. Rob Engh requested, and Board approved, transfer of his lease for his hangar
to Northern Skies for storage of their aircraft
