In July of 2005, the State Board of Land Commissioners approved a Record of Decision (ROD) for the
Department of Natural Resources and Cons~vat/on (DNRC) R~l Estate Management Prog~manatic
Final Enviroumeotal Impact Slat~me~t. An/mportant component of the ROD was public participation in
tho process that the Real Estate Mana~mlt Bureau uses to identify real estate projects on Trust lands.
As a part of thin public outreac~ tho Roal Estate Management Burean~ in conjunction with th~ Southern
Land Office, will be conducting a public me4~ting in Billin~ to discuss the ROD and its implicaflon~ on
Real Estate a~ivity on Trust lands located in the DNRC Southern Land Office. The Southern Land Office
tonnages Trust !and in Big Horn, Carbo~ Musselsheil, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Treasu~ and YellowsWn¢
Comities.
At this meeting members of the DNRC Real Estate Management Bureau (REMB) will be on hand to
present information on various aspcvts of the ROD and FFAS. Additionally, I will present information on
the real eztato projects that are currently taking place within the Southern Land Office and also identify
Trust lands that may have potomial for development in thc future. This me~6ng is part of a series of
meetings that th~ REMB is conducting throughout thc state to discuss tho ROD.
The ma,.ting in Billings will be held on Thursday. 17 May 2007 from 5 n.m. tO 8 p.m. at the Fish.
