The Montana Board of Veterans Affairs will be conducting its next meeting in Laurel at the American Legion Hall located in Riverside Park. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 22, beginning at 1:30 p.m. One of the primary topics to be discussed will be the planned Yellowstone County Veterans Cemetery; and on behalf of Board Chairman Don Kettner, you are formally invited to the meeting. Upon meeting adjournment, we also plan to tour the cemetery site. This letter is being sent to the Yellowstone County Commissioners, the Mayor of Laurel, the President of the Yellowstone County United Veterans Council, and state lawmakers who have been involved in passing legislation supporting this project. If one (or more) of you would like to make a presentation to the board regarding the cemetery's developmental process, that would be most appreciated. Also, we are hoping someone will lead us on a tour of the proposed cemetery site. Please contact me at 324-3741 or iofoster~mt.gov if you have any questions or comments. If possi, ble, I would also appreciate knowing who may be attending the meeting so I can inform Chairman Kettner and make any needed changes to the meeting's agenda.
