_ Railroad Passenger service in Montana
This letter is your invitation to attend a roundtable discussion at the Chamber of
Commerce building on Friday April 13 at 1:30 PM. The purpose of the discussion
is to determine what should and can be done to restore rail passenger service to
Billings and the surrounding area. Rural areas need access to medical care,
education and shopping which Billings can provide. The Economies is great when
we can move citizens in a safe and secure manner. The citizens of southern
Montana should have the opportunity to catch a train and travel to the West Coast
or East to visit relatives and fxiends without the hassle of driving on the congested
highways or, subjected to uneornfortable and crowded airplanes. We need to get
this as a top priority with our elected politicians.
