DPW CONFERENCE ROOM
The Tree Board met on January 10, 2007, with Steve Klotz in the Public Works Office, where
they reviewed a video of tree managemem in three large municipalities, Lower Mefion, PA;
Moumain Brook, AL; and Redwood City, CA. This included handling and solving problems of
· established plantings, and the planning and implementing of new ones. A grid system was highly
recommended for this. Several new materials for landscaping were shown.
A search for a new board member to fill the vacancy lea by the loss of Council Member Jennifer
Johnson was discussed.
