Meeting brought to order @ 19:00 hours by John Smith
Members present: John Smith, Randy Hand, Rob Engh
Most listed expenses were either recurring or routine Maintenance. Lawn service, power, weed control
chemicals. Also had insurance for$1,085.00 and windsock replacements, (4)@$112.40
OLD Business:
AWOS bid, contract has been awarded to Central Electric, ($173,900.00)with construction scheduled for this
fall. KU will handle project engineering, and has allowed us to pay their fees for this after FAA funds are
received. We have also reserved the salvage rights to the old AWOS, as we do have a firm offer for it from
Montana Aeronautics for use at another site.
New Business:
Need to discuss with Northern Skies and others a way to share the cost of yearly certification of new AWOS,
after the first years contract expires.
Discussion made as to Web site revisions and future updates to better serve customers flying in to area, and
also check with local businesses for a "featured" spot on the web page. Also looking for a person "web site
friendly to help maintain web page.
Will contact Spectrum Security for a review on the security system operation.
