Consolidated Plan and Housing Application Videoconference Workshop

Free, live videoconference broadcast in 10 locations
Don't miss your chance to comment on Montana's draft 2007 Consolidated Plan/Annual Action Plan. Each year,
the Consolidated Plan/Annual Action Plan allows the state to access approximately $12 million from the U.S.
Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). These funds provide Montana communities with decent,
safe, and affordable housing; public facilities and other infrastructure; and economic opportunities for Iow-income
families through funding for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships
(HOME), and Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) programs. :
This year, the Consolidated Plan public review meeting is being held on Thursday, November 30, 2006.
Beginning at 9:45 a.m., a free, live videoconference will be broadcast in 10 locations across the state:

The consolidated planning process is important for Montana communities; therefore you are invited to
attend one of the meetings sites to share comments on Montana's draft Consolidated Plan Annual Action Plan.
We look forward to your active participation in the review of Montana's 2007 Action Plan.
The draft Annual Action Plan will available on or after November 27, 2006 on the Montana Department of
Commerce (MDOC) Housing Division website at: http:llhousing.mt, govlHous_CP_Apps.asp
If you are unable to access the website, you can request printed copies of CP documents by calling 406-841-
2820 or TDD: 406-841-2702.
Through December 22, 2006, written comments on the plan may be sent to Leslie Edgcomb, Consolidated Plan
Coordinator, Housing Division, P.O. Box 200545, Helena, MT 59620-0545.
Immediately following the Consolidated Plan meeting, a free joint housing application workshop will be held.
Representatives from vadous agencies will present overviews of their housing programs, requirements for
application, and deadlines. Participating agencies include the Montana Depa~ment of Commeme's Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Program, and Montana Board of Housing, as well as the USDA Rural
Development and the Montana Department of Environmental Quality.
