CITY HALL MEMBERS PRESENT: Norm Stamper-Co-Chairman Chuck Rodgers Cathy Gabrian Loyd Shay Lee Barndt OTHERS PRESENT: None Public Input: No public in attendance. Proposed Veterans Cemetery Discussion regarding the additional activities that will be involved if the Yellowstone County mill levy for the Veteran's Cemetery passes. The commission will have to look at the possibility of a task force to handle the increased activity. Discussion regarding the use of the pond on state land for irrigation along with the possibility of creating a pond in the low area of our cemetery where fill dirt is being dumped. It was suggested that in a master plan, we look at relocating the shop building to the back of the property. Chuck commented that since the Masonic Lodge building sits adjacent to the cemetery, he would like to visit with them and see if they would ever consider renting or allowing the use of their building for a chapel or reception area for families who are from out of town. Proposed Extension of Airport Road Dick let the county know of the purchase of the Rosselot land. Norm stated the county has indicated that with the purchase of this land, they will proceed with extending Airport Road. Sprinkler System on CIP List Motion by Chuck, seconded by Lee to Proceed with the recommendation to the Council that the construction of the automated sprinkler system be placed on high priority on the CIP list for fiscal year 2007-2008. Motion carded. Budget Amendment Motion by Chuck, seconded by Loyd to request a budget amendment to proceed with the master plan for the existing cemetery. Motion carried.
