Proposed Veterans Cemetery
Discussion regarding the additional activities that will be involved if the Yellowstone
County mill levy for the Veteran's Cemetery passes. The commission will have to look at the
possibility of a task force to handle the increased activity.
Discussion regarding the use of the pond on state land for irrigation along with the
possibility of creating a pond in the low area of our cemetery where fill dirt is being dumped. It
was suggested that in a master plan, we look at relocating the shop building to the back of the
property.
Chuck commented that since the Masonic Lodge building sits adjacent to the cemetery,
he would like to visit with them and see if they would ever consider renting or allowing the use
of their building for a chapel or reception area for families who are from out of town.
Proposed Extension of Airport Road
Dick let the county know of the purchase of the Rosselot land. Norm stated the county
has indicated that with the purchase of this land, they will proceed with extending Airport Road.

Motion by Chuck, seconded by Lee to Proceed with the recommendation to the Council
that the construction of the automated sprinkler system be placed on high priority on the CIP list
for fiscal year 2007-2008. Motion carded.
