ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA, TO
APPROVE A ZONE CHANGE FROM R-7500 TO RESIDENTIAL LIMITED MULTI-FAMILY
FOR A RECENTLY ANNEXED PARCEL OF PROPERTY TO THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the Laurel Municipal Code (LMC) provides that property annexed after the
adoption of the LMC shall be automatically zoned as R-7500 with no further action or requirement by
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the recently annexed property requested a zone change to Residential
Limited Multi-Family upon annexation of his property to the City and the City Zoning Commission
concurred and recommends approving the requested zone change by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the requested change in zoning is for the property described as Tract B-1 of
Certificate of Survey No. 2385 Amended Tract B, and the zone change is fi.om R-7500 to Residential
I Limited Multi-Family for this parcel; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Laurel to adopt this Ordinance to provide for
a consistent, uniform and orderly growth for the City;
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana that the Zoning
Map of the City of Laurel, Montana is amended as follows:
The property described as Tract B-1 of Certificate of Survey No. 2385 Amended Tract B, is
hereby changed fi.om R:7500 to Residential Limited Multi-Family.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days aRer final passage by the City Council
and approved by the Mayor.
